Baptism

The Baptism

Stumbling, Trembling, Faltering
as I step down into the cold clean waters of death.
Oh how I fear.
Oh how I dread
the chilly abode of the dead.
But, down I go
as trust grips the likes of me.

Then up I come,
a slave of fear set free
as joy, joy, joy
grips the likes of me.
Now, what’s that I hear
in the background din?????-Its the sounds of angels singing!
So, now I know what I only knew in part;
It is really true-I was truly saved from sin.
