Every Single Soul By Michael Franti and Spearhead

Hi,

it’s time to wake up to this beautiful song and world. I have been wondering and thinking of a song to play today. I got suggestions from friends but this one really struck the right chords in my body.

The title alone or should i say, how the song began with a short poem and then the drums. Mehn, it something you would want to listen to always. Anyways,

  1. There is a sage your soul knows as
The Sage to save your #soul
    Songful sweet in sounding edgy

Blends in time of space good time with
    a #phonetics choral core
    Legendary earthlings blurring

And we very well know it, yes
    fantasy arguments
    Legendary earthling legends
    stirring

  2. The words
    I write
    don’t rhyme
    They are
    what I feel
    They come
    from my
    Soul and turn
    into a poem
    If you played music
    I’d say it
    was your song
    Words have
    a way of making
    Or breaking
    someone
    Be careful
    what you write
    Chose love and
    Just breathe

  3. We write our souls to poems
    harvesting your mind
    patience finds us alone
    searching for yours.

    You move me in ways
    words kiss my deepness
    taking you inside
    baking your revelations.

    Precious light you share
    such eyes binding love
    no matter my final ashes
    your memory makes my real.

  4. A parched cry
    in a chorus of pain
    love streams
    with the need to feel
    to be at ease
    we riddle our fears
    dwelling in fantasies
    poetry bleeds
    in fallen tears
    we rise cradled by light
    holding vigil
    sanguine memories
    on ashen faces
    of lost souls
    within the real
    of blessings.

  5. Every soul destroyed
    Destroyed by corruption
    Feeling and emotion
    Turned to anger
    In fires fury
How has it come to this
