We sunset our eyes
haunting evening’s beach
like stealthy waves kissing it
nightfalling such desire.
Cold surf caught us
crazy cries of delight
moments we stoke today
fires upon our deep.
Stars unmasked the night
candling our rendezvous
like footprints in the sand
leading us home.
We would sunset our eyes
