Life is full of complications and most of the time, they aren’t pleasant. Complications result from life being imperfect, and us as humans being imperfect. This post will be about how to deal with these complications and not get too frustrated.
Complications are a part of life. We can approach them with a negative attitude or a positive one, but learning and preparing for complications to begin with, is the key to not becoming too frustrated with them. What can we do to make complications that are sure to arise is some circumstances more manageable?
- Prepare for them by adding extra time in your day.
- Have a positive attitude that you are wise enough to solve the complications when they do arise
- knowing that there is some sort of solution to your complications helps when approaching one
- Use problem solving techniques such as approaching them looking for the solution rather than focusing on the problem.
Complications can be hard to handle if you’ve not prepared your day with the time to deal with them. Complications arise in my day every day and it is the manner in which I handle them that determines how difficult they will be. Today I called the bank and could not remember the password on my account. The teller on the phone said the only way to deal with the problem was to go into the bank and show ID, and switch out the password. When I was writing out my schedule for the week, I allowed for time to go to the bank to do this. This will avoid me feeling frustrated when I run out of time during the week because I have planned for this complication.
We will all have to deal with complications from time to time. Preparing for them can be our saving grace in dealing with them to begin with.
