Why is knowledge so important and why do we need to keep gaining it?  Knowledge is Power!  Let us take a look at what knowledge means in our Webster Dictionary.

Knowledge-1.  1.  facts, information or knowledge acquired by a person through experience or education, the theoretical or practical understanding or subject.  2.  What is known in a particular field or in total;  facts and information . 3.  True justified belief, certain understanding, as opposed to opinion.

Daily Wisdom Word Meaning of Knowledge-POWER

Knowledge is power.  The more you know in this world, the easier it is to navigate yourself around in it.  The more information you have, the stronger you are in the work force, the higher your position is likely to be promoted to, and the richer your confidence is.

Knowledge is based on fact, not opinion so in order to get it, you must learn it in school, verify what a stranger has just told you to be fact, or test it out first before sharing it with the world unless you are gaining this knowledge from a trusted source.  The more knowledge you have, the more able you will be to converse with everyone, not just a limited few.

Why do I keep saying, knowledge is power?  Knowledge is power because of reasons Adam and Eve learned the hard way:  They ate from the tree of life, and next thing they knew, they could tell they were naked, notice, what a tree was, ETC.  They knew things and the more you know, the stronger you will be not only as a person but as a scholar.

Who doesn’t want to carry on an intelligent conversation with anyone?  You can’t learn everything overnight so with knowledge you must be patient in order to learn it.  Part of your knowledge will come from books, part from college and part of it from talking with trusted sources.  Part of your knowledge you will learn the hard way.  What is the hard way?  The school of hard knocks.  That is, by making mistakes.  Mistakes can be a good thing if we learn by them because believe it or not, there is a lesson of knowledge held in each one of them, IF we choose to learn it.

Throughout your life, you must never stop learning.  To stop learning, reading, growing as individuals creates a Stagnant and still environment, one we are not learning from.  Now that the tree of life has been eaten from so many years ago, it is our job to learn as much as we can, as well as we can and no matter what age we live to be.  Knowledge also creates Wisdom if you learn from your mistakes and remain open minded enough to continue to learn from everything around us including our mistakes.

I want to thank you for reading about knowledge with me today.  Have a Wonderful and blessed day.
