She eyes me like a fighter
she thinks I am brave
Truth is, I never understood
why she does weed in
a cave
If you are the writer, you have
a moral obligation to dig
deep truths Revolutionary
She wants to marry
I tell her, “I love the seeds
you carry.”

Your precious eyes find me
under eventide’s stars
will you hold mine close
take me inside your night.
Enchanted you make me
like distant suns
burning deep inside
a fire upon your deepness.
Dawn awakens new light
searing dreams fade
unfolding another dance
will I be yours today?
You have really grown into a wonderful poet…one of these days I’m going to change the focus of the prompt to something far away from romance😁
About your poem, I notice a slight shift in style, not the stanzas. The use of personification is too notch. Well done
