Starlight alights her eyes
a glimmer of your desire
as she considers you
puzzled if you’ll pursue.
She rewards you a sigh
reflecting on her beautiful

will you make her real?
The light of day
has much to say
beauty sprawled
in little detours
of artful humour
eathly mist
of a summer’s wish
glistening
as wildflowers
painted the hour
bird’s preen
with loving ease
beckoning memories
for one lifetime.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder
yet tell us to be more
we sit in front of reflections preening
making ourselves into a Madonna sometimes a whore.
Dramatic eye liner making it pop
lips so bright make your heart stop
don’t wanna go out today
so I’ll watch the river flow
