PYRAMIDS AND CONGRUENCY

When you hear of pyramids your mind subconciously travels to Egypt. The question is why? Don’t worry. That’s not what I want you to write about today. Just take a look at the pyramid and see the beauty of sand. Yes! Sand.

Take a look at once more. What do you think about it. The words are pyramids and congruency. This is Daily Wisdom Words Picture Poetry Prompt. My name is Abuh Monday Eneojo. I will be your host.

  1. Bing Go

    I brought along some peaches
    some red cherries Bing
    to feed my little pony
    singing her song of
    stone casings &
    congruency

    I’d like to
    find a new theory
of how that thing was built
Granite beams 60 tons a hot sun
surely did make those brave men wilt

  2. Sculpted from dust,
As dunes dance and cojure a storm,
From which the bodies of earth rise,
    A creation designed to create.

    The congruency of shapes:
Stars of a vision stacked in heaven,
The beauty of a body made of sand,
    Shapeshifted by dust hands

  3. As arid winds blow
    eternity they seek
    mummified remains await burial
    beneath the pyramids peak
    Kings & queens
    entombed in gold
    ride with sun gods
    into whatever death holds
    Did they ever imagine
    what an attraction they’d be
    for tourists covered in sand
    who bravely come see

    • Hmmmm. It reminds me of all the gods and goddesses that I know, all thanks to documentaries and movies.
Egypt is so special. In fact, there’s a study called egyptology.
Thanks for sharing this poem. One question, do you love egyptian culture?

  4. Truth of a poet
    Emotions of feeling
    Emotions to use
    Anger use it
    Sadness use it
    Happiness use it
If you’re in love write about it
If you’re scared write about it
    A poet uses
    Feelings and emotions
    A poet uses
    Their five senses
This is the truth of a poet
