Life’s not fair ❤️

by: Reenie O’Dea

Have you heard, lifes not fair?
Events unfold, life doesn’t care.
One year ago she died
She had no say in deaths demise

I’d like to know where she went,
her vivaciousness, wit & grit
She passed away in so much pain
Will I see her once again?

Did her ashes just fly away
Who took her soul to God that day?
Part of me is numb inside
Did she see an angel fly?

Did you know that when we go?
Our soul lives on they say its so
Or is it really that we leave
A final mark of our tears and grief

Perhaps we aren’t supposed to know
Where our ashes really go.
I see traces of tears
The memories, her final year

How can we truly know,
Where she went or where she’ll go
She left behind her beauty mark
Her two girls, of her in part

My gratitude is in what lives on
My nieces and her written songs
Her voice angelic i still hear
I swear i hear her voice still near

Forever gone in another time?
A different place of Gods design

She lives on in her girls
Their souls a part of her once whole
Will we ever find some peace?
into the mystic is she free?

Today a tribute to her life
The memories she left behind
Is it in ones final days?
We find an answer to this maze?

So I choose to believe,
She passed on in wind so free
She lived a lifetime in a day
God wishes we all lived this way
Have you heard, lifes not fair?

A final mark of tears and grief

Perhaps we aren’t supposed to know
Where our ashes really go.
I see traces of her everywhere
The memories, framed pictures shared

How can we ever truly know,
Where she went or where she’ll go?
She left behind her beauties mark
Her two girls, of her in part

My gratitude is in what lives on
My nieces and her written songs
Her voice angelic i still hear
I swear i hear her voice still near

Forever gone, another time?
A different place of Gods design
She touched the lives of those she met
I’d call her when I was upset

She lives on in her girls,
Their souls a part of her once whole.
Will we ever find some peace?
“Into the mystic” is she free?

Today a tribute to her life.
The memories she left behind.
Is it in our final days?
We find an answer to this maze?

So I choose to believe,
She passed on in the wind so free
She lived a lifetime in a day
God knows we all should live this way
