On the other side of your window
My sky unflurs
Peek and you shall find
In the barren city of yours
( Now that you have gone )
No audience that I could find
Flowers in the vase have blistered away
How could they bloom
In the water of stale memories?
The ink has dried up; arid quill
With moistened eyes
Blurred, your name appears
Many a letters I did intend to send
But these treacherous trembling hands
Seem to have forgotten your address
On the other side of your window
Scores ago, my sky unflured
Peek and you shall find
Therein now lies the spread of the night
On the other side of your window
Now, some other sky unflurs
On the other side of your window
Now, some other city sleeps
Absolutely beautiful words. Samantha
