    Ignoring the urgency harder
    The mist of doubt is thick
    My hopes feel like a trick
    I’m cutting through hate
    Holding my heart as bait
    You are a dream I built
    Out of need and guilt

    as a soft breeze
    carries lost dreams
    young hearts screams
    drowning in fears
    of war smudge tears..
    sometimes hope
    befriends heartbreak
    as they yearn
    for summer days
    where simple pleasures
    numbs the pain
    of cloudy days.

    breathed for your promises.
    I’m waiting for the moment,
    feeling the minutes filling the air
    under this grand delusion
    Truth will hide behind your lips,
    and I weep to understand
