Let us get into some romance today with this song by Cigarettes after sex. It is a really lovely song and I am sure you’d love it dearly. Yes! Before I proceed I’d love to say a very big thank you to everyone who celebrated with the lovely Maureen O’Dea yesterday. Our plan worked. She was emotional, very emotional.
Alright, let us get back to it. Welcome to Daily Wisdom Words Music Prompt. Here, we listen to a song and allow it to control our thought process and eventually what we write. I am Abuh Monday Eneojo. I will be your host.

Drinking Songs Like Wine
Your songs made love to me
got drunk on their words
even time left me faded
holding on to them.
Ballads story our lives
weaving your colors
visions we’d sing
sharing your beautiful.
I’d write about you every day
painting in your sky
we’d drink songs like wine
kissing time goodbye.
The first line still speaks a great deal of the poetic. Nice job Rob…just so you know i still remember your AKA.
Listen can u hear
my mind
crowded with words
they are the
picturesque particulars
of everyday urges
pensable in nocturnal walks
loving u with
the blush of sleep
let’s touch without
waking the world
giving free rein our hearts
anctiously running wild.
Your poem shows a great deal synergy and the picture you attached to it is awesome. Thanks for sharing this Michelle. Please be safe.
Addictive the way you trace a body so carefully
A master of disguise
Hands so soft
Turn abruptly
Pulling one in heartbeats matching
Closing a chapter
On love’s addictive
Power
Wow…I had to look closely just to see the third party in the picture. Your poem carries every sense of romance. I can literarily feel it. very sensual. Great job Sarah.
All I wanted when I was a teen
Was a beauty queen
To be loved and seen
Several times I tried
How many times I cried
At 36 I stopped looking
At 40 I decided I don’t want love
But all I do is write poetry on beauty and love
