What color of Lily do you want? You have to tell me now so Reenie O’Dea can paint one for you. Like i said you have to tell me now because the window to this bonanza is thin. Hahahahaha! I am just kidding. You see, art has a way of finding you even when you have no business whatsoever with it. You have your own story of how you encountered art and i certainly have mine.

    my tousled hair
    hidden expectations
    a parting glance
    sun basking on
    dense greens

    of home brimming
    in full regalia
    of another songline.

    Blank palate
    In front of me
    I ask the universe
    To open my soul
    Suddenly i’m pouring
    Colors every where
    I grab a straw
    Blow this way and that
    The excitement
    Is beating in my heart
    I add a little more blue
    Take a breathe and blow
    The paint till i get
    Samantha’s Lilly
    I feel it’s one of my best
    Just Breathe

  3. The color of my Lily
    May seem a little silly
    I gathered some blue and red
    Added purple but all it did was bled
    I mixed in some green and yellow
    Got some orange from a nice old fellow
    I mixed the colors, oh what a sight
    All together, they shined so bright
    Formed completely in a flower
    My Lily completed in an hour 🍃
