It is quite interesting to have two words that I hold dear. There is not a day I don’t listen to good sound and I still find time to embrace silence so sanity can prevail. Call it a remedy to all that enters my ears each day. Between silence and sound, I don’t know which is dearest to me. Enough about me. Tell me what you think about these words, Sound and Silence.

I am in compliance
With an alliance
To shatter my own silence
I look all around
Where words are found
To give my voice a sound
The strength of a word
Can easily be heard
From a sounding board
Opening the door
Releases the core
Of silence no more
By Catherine Mellen
This is surely worth posting. thanks for sharing this heart felt poem.
Can you hear that
It’s deafening
Shout out loud
Standing in a crowd
The sound of silence
That nobody hears
I am here but you don’t hear
Do you see me
Why can’t you hear me
