  1. Watching high in the tallest tree
    Three black cats wait patiently
    Witches chanting by the fire
    Spells are set
    flames growing higher
Worship they do the moon in the sky
With the wind their brooms will fly

  2. When the timid moon rose from the black velvet of the night
she couldn’t help but look at the three little cats
in chorus they sang its praises emitting sounds of love
the neighbors, disturbed, could not help but open the window and be surprised to see that the moon was watching them too

  3. The moon calls to us
    with tails entwined
we sing our black cat song
    our stories, longings, and fears
    pour from our throats
    under the neon light
    we sing proudly
through the night & all day long.
