Living Relics
Ruins of an old, old church
Still standing against the sinking
of the sun;
This Bride stands alone in this world,
But she’s still here.
Ruins of a woman
Still standing against the evening tide sun;
She often stands alone too,
But she’s still here also–
With women and churches
Still held dear in the heart of the Savior.
For even history has a way of preserving
Churches and women deserving
of an honorable mention by eternity and time
Because Jesus say’s “Their Mine!”
