I’m well aware of the fact that some people think that crying is a sign of weakness.
It is not in anyway true. The act, crying, comes as an earnest and beautiful need to express bounteous feelings that cannot hide.
Call me weird. I’ll still say it: crying is beautiful. It is not a sign of weakness.

Who decided tears
are weak?
To hold them back
is to bend to the
will of society
Men, who
show their innermost
heart
as each jewel
encased in empathy
spills
to the floor
are our true
lions
I cried today
the tears stained
my cheeks like berries
freshly plucked
I felt the pain
ancestors screaming
in my brain.
A beautiful relief
tears like rain
some call it weakness
but those some
are in pain.
I cried today & I’ll be ok.
Whispering close to you
tears flood our beautiful
they secret my uncertainty
like rain on my lips.
Simmering thoughts make us
drinking our minds
wondering if that kiss
still wanted another.
I silence my poetic
dazzled by your look
wanting summer’s breeze
drying your lonely tears.
