Who is me? I’m all four Golden Girls
in my house where this old lady rules.
I’m the hot one that that craves my husband’s lips.
I’m the smart one with too much fat on my hips.
I’m the dumb one who has no mental logic.
I’m the old one, the smart one’s constant project.
I wonder who my husband is going to get up to today?!
I’m every woman
with feelings deeply
a heart to love fiercely
laughter in her power
bone deep of essence
a confident woman standing
soul-searched her self worth
didn’t find myself lacking
for my sisters lift me from

I am beautiful
needing no one to validate it
