LONELY AGAIN
There’s a sad love
in the fire of your eyes
burning up my mind.
I want to be nice to you,
but I’m way too much.
So I say while you sleep,
though I paint you bright
in mornings of golden passion,
I’m just going to be lonely again
when you want to be just friends.

goodbye
all those days apart
wasted kissing our tears.
Somebody saw your lonely
wanting to say hello
told me I’m the fool
wasting my time alone.
We were never just friends
can you still see me
I’m drifting along your shore
