Life Cycle

One day the rain
Falling on the plain
Renew the world we once knew
Bring forth the life a new
The winter is upon us now
Harsh is the cold winds from the north
Asleep is the cursed land, done in by the hands of man, now buried in a suit of white, all covered is the land
The snow, renew the frozen tundra under all that snow
Ah but to wait until the earth moves once around the mother Sun, another year done
Spring will then return the harshness of the winter now pass, new life will abound
Oh the cycle of life, we come and we go
Each and every year, redundant we have become
Our end is but a beginning for new life yet to come
Ah each and every year, around the Sun
Spring, summer, fall, and winter to be sure will come
No, life waits for no one
Like the rain falling on the plain our time is but a splash, a drop upon the land we are here and then we are gone
The life cycle is complete
