The Fortune shop,
dark, dimly lit within,
Madame Delphi, I’ve come!
The girl entered and sat.
Are planets aligned?
What’s the last card?
The old hand revealed Death.
She gasped. Woman chuckled.
No, dear. It means change,
not really death.
The bird looked at her
and flew away.
The planets move
A circular grove
Dancing in her wake
She plays along
My heart beat song
But this girl’s not awake
I hold her close
Her broken host
Her favorite mistake
My blackhole soul
Devours her whole
When I finally break
Now you know why
I’m perpetually shy
And I’m better left alone
The girl held the planets,
Like a string of balloons
The planets were swirling
In a typhoon
Each planet was named,
Surrounded by stars
The earth being one
The skies black and dark
They all held life
In different form
Lost they were now
In a black worm
