Paradise at low tide
bears mutilated scars
of secrets buried
in the sand
father unknown
I’m a migrated soul
this stranger n me
has a mutiny
hushed in stories
days shifts
thoughts drifts
his name i dt speak
for i’m a spice
long forgotten
who took refuge
in a seashell.

Celebrate #FathersDay
Hooray!
What can I say
Yes he loved me
He laid into me
Red welds
Beat me black and blue
Rocks like boulders
Rocks in turbulence
On a knife edge walking on blades
Like tornadoes in a thunderstorm
A light that didn’t last
Celebrate Fathers Day

My heart lungs for you. All i see are orders of what you want me to be. If you stumble on this, i just want you to know that i love you even though you make me cower in indecision when you see me not. We were supposed to be best of friends but it just so happens that the best we have is the distance we hold and the friends we complain to. I will not apologize for wanting to be free from what deem not good for my being but…
