SEEKING A DISTANT PARADISE
The sun doesn’t leave me alone,
throwing hard shadows on a covered face.
Happiness is ever in the middle distance,
but rarely closer in my sad eyes,
& I’m too close to the poison regret of the city,
so I walk the rugged lines in Nature’s palm
praying for just one day in Paradise.
Pray you find your paradise, my friend.

Restless
I picked up a camera
to, at least for a minute,
feed on the joy
that comes with shutters,
flashlight and a smile.
It is another day in
another paradise.

to kiss the sky
all around misery
quivers in the breeze
my forlorn thoughts
ferments in a gentle wish
where sunbeams lights
a path for those
who in darkness screams..
a prelude of hope
in flowers bloom
to sprout beauty
