I cry at night
Wishing God would clear my life
Lay openly awake
And hoping He will listen while I pray at night
Hope He hears me when I speak
As I humbly ask
Tears fall as I hope for the best
And that hope is for Him to remove my stress
Erase all my bad memories
But I can’t start over
I put all of it behind
Ask that He please on allow me to lean on his shoulders
I can’t do no more I believe
I can only ask for help,
And hope for the best
Willing to receive whatever is left
