Truth be told. I don’t know if I have been a good friend. A friend you can count on when you need a shoulder to cry on. I really don’t know.
All I know is that I can be a good friend to you from this day. You just need to teach me how to be a good friend.????

Downtrodden in a dark
room with thoughts
that couldn’t fly.
Like a wounded deer
I refused to run
But your words
Gave strength
To my feet.
