BEACH AND SAND

Hey guys,

Have you heard of beach therapy? If your answer is no, then, read on. If your answer is yes, still read on.😁

A friend of mine actually introduced me to this term during one of our chat. Truth be told, I envied what she enjoyed because all I can access is just water and a tub.

Hahahahahaha. It just occurred to me that I don’t know beach therapy. All I know is tub therapy.

I’d like Michelle Hugelmann to tell us what beach therapy is maybe in a poem or just an explanatory note.

Alright guys, it’s time for DWW PICTURE POETRY. I’m happy today because it just rained and I’m basking in the sun. It’s fun! I hope I don’t change complexion after this.

  1. Went to the beach for beach therapy
    but it wasn’t very fun
    you see they’re over populated
sand crabs are on the run
way to much litter lines the waters shore
where once white sandy beaches sat
plastic water bottles bob with cheap beer cans
    and everything smells like crap.
The people were warned years ago
said reuse recycle take it with you when you leave
but they come daily more and more
    leaving pollution on our shores.

I wanted to go to the beach for beach therapy
but the beach was no more. -Ad (Curvy Red Gurl)

  2. August shores against us
    hot sand delights
    stunned waves shock
    igniting us again.

    Scorching sunlit skies
    blinding eyes lock
    behind shadow’s intent
    laughing about everythin.

    Darkened clouds interlope
    masking wicked lips
    baby I know your way
    nightfalling my beach.

  3. Daily walks on the beach
    shoreline welcomes my smile
    heart beat settles in
    the absence of words
    sea breeze envelope my scent
    beauty of moments shared
    sketched in the sand
    love imparts to
    hold my breath
    senses transpire
    imploding my desire.

  4. Sit back
    relax enjoy
    the view
    The ocean
    is a place
    of refuge
    The wind
    on your face
    the sun in
    your eyes
    sand between
    your toes
    How lucky
    are we to
    be alive
    This is a place
    to let your
    stress go
    to think
    of nothing
    but of
    having
    Some fun
    Everyone needs
    a little beach
    In your life
    It’s the best
    therapy πŸŒŠπŸβ˜€οΈ

  5. Beach & sand
I take you by the hand
    The weather at my command
    A nice shaded spot
To sunbathe and to the crash of the wave
    Candyfloss and lip gloss
A sweet kiss on your lips
