The Vietnam Wall
The eyes in the hillside Memorial
Pour a river of tears on America.
It’s the eye of the mass grave dead
As it peers though a forest of pain.
That forest is us.
That pain is ours for the dead that are lain
In that horrible Cemetery of excruciating pain.
