Her life

by: Sarah

Hurt and Confused I try to teach.
Life’s lessons as I preach.
A family not caring.
Who mock the one’s who have overcome.
Confused I am as to where lines are met.
As far as past and present lye.
In minds of most criminals should die.
I changed my life, I worked so hard.
I teach my siblings right from wrong.
I have no rights to protect them now.
No right to protect myself from addicts, and gangs in the house.
By asking questions, and following rules. Turns out criminals still have penalties and fines to pay for being such fools.
