Life moves fast quick with the beat
Hard at time to rest
take a seat
Times I want to pick up and call
Day goes too fast
no time at all
Instead I’ll write
you a note
Text from my cell
when I step out to smoke
When time is still and I have things to say
I’ll write a few poems at the end of my day
Friends who I love
gab on the phone
Need to set an alarm to find time alone
Some days are quick and night comes fast
Send you a message it will be my last
To tell you goodnight with the rising moon
Tell you in a message
I will call you soon
