Wilderness,
I like wilderness
With rocks and rugged land,
And wide open sky
Where the wild-eyed eagle flys.
Yes, those wide open spaces
Is where the soul can expand;
And God provides
Manna,
And water flows from hard places,
Where He perfects the hard cases
Of a wayward mankind.
