A new day is a dawning
A new time is a coming
The wind of change is blowing
There are people they are protesting
There are people who are crying, change they’re demanding
The walls of resistance are crumbling
The power is shifting, like sand blowing in the wind
A new day of understanding
A new day towards a more perfect union is coming
The winds of change are coming
Where it is written, let the words sing on high
May the words of our Constitution come to fruition
That all my brothers and my sisters rise up for a new tomorrow
Equality and the rights of liberty are what we’re demand
No room for hate within this land
A new tomorrow should be here now
Liberty and Justice for all
For change is blowing in the wind
Let the new dawn begin right now
