It is taking this Country down

It is not COVID-19 I’m talking about
There is a virus going around
It is cancer that eating us apart
There is a virus going around
The virus is called hate
There is a virus going around
The virus of fear and violence
There is a virus it’s not new
It’s been here since this nation was born
There is a virus going around
The virus of racism and tribalism
There is a virus going around
A vaccine will bring down one virus
But what of the other- There is no vaccine
The only cure that I know of for the virus of hate is that of
Love, Understanding, acceptance, and Brotherhood
