The promised land
where the future glowed
in every heart beat of devotions.
this ain’t the dream
contradiction is real
we modulate our minds
to survive tribulations
for what is the point
if not to love
what miracles still exist.?
to share kindness
as a reconciliation
This is not America
once a leader of all
breaking every rule
no longer right at all
this is not America
our heart once pledged
we once were proud
now, falling to the edge
Morals, we don’t observe
no faith in our leader
none deserved
lies and morals bleed here
this is not America,
blood on each hand
can’t be proud
Russia’s seamen land
all truth and dignity
now part of the past
built on lies
none of it can last
