Lost in thoughts from what might have
been.
A world apart as her lifetime ends.
By chance or choice,
Situations arose.
Clinging hope after that final blow.
People will judge, what they don’t
Know.
I watch her fade, day after day.
This beautiful creature, slipping away.
Tired and worn.
Her battle is fought.
If only a message could have been taught.
As those who judge continue to show all the things they think they know.
