COLLUSION

How does collusion affect our lives?

Let us first take a look at the meaning of collusion in the Webster Dictionary-Collusion-1.  Secret or illegal cooperation or conspiracy especially in order to cheat or deceive others.  2.  illegal cooperation or conspiracy, especially between ostensible opponents in a lawsuit.

Collusion is best known for its meaning in the current situation going on in Washington in regards to Russia meddling in our Political races and whether or not someone in our government was aware of it in a position of power.    There have been accusations of collusion going on for quite some time now, along with an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Collusion is also best known in what was termed the Watergate Conspiracy.  This occurred when President Nixon was in office and there was a coverup within Washington that he led.  Collusion was the “intention” to cover it up along with the cooperation of his staff.  Collusion in this case led to the impeachment of Nixon, along with lawsuits that he was forced to deal with.

Collusion currently, in a name you hear on the news everyday, wondering how/if  far up the food chain, Politicians took bribes to allow Russia to steer this past election in 2016 to allow Donald Trump to win by Russia backing him secretly for candidacy.  They have traced this as closely to evidence found that his old attorney had something to do with it,  or at the very least, they are trying to prove it and seem to have the evidence to do so.

Collusion is nasty business and unfortunately has been a part of the back door part of politics for as long as anyone can remember. Whether they prove collusion occurred in the current case regarding Russia being involved in hacking our elections is a whole other story, but what will make it collusion is if someone knows high up within our government this was going on and whether or not it can be proven.
