Colors of the Wind
Just how polluted is the world right now?
I think about that question every time I listen to the Disney classic “Colors of the Wind” from Pocahontas (1995).

Perhaps one of the most profound songs ever to come out of Disney music, the song, sung by actress and singer Judy Kuhn, explores how much understanding we actually have of mother nature.
I did some research and according to scientific data, the world has 60.6 Billion Metric Tons of air and climate pollution every year
The ideal number according to scientists should be around 5 to 10 billion metric tons.
So we have a long way to go and so much to understand as expressed by the lyrics (written by Stephen Schwartz) of the song.
What do you think of the song? Do you agree with its point of view? Do you believe human beings can still do a lot more than they’re doing now?
Write down your thoughts by composing your own poem about it! I look forward to reading it and responding to it!
And now, a gift for YOU the reader: I and the entire team of Daily Wisdom Words would like to deeply thank anyone and everyone for joining us and it’s time we give back to you all. I can’t stand that song, I don’t know why, maybe its the inaccuracies in historical references and awkward political agenda that Disney seems to distort. (I would love see a suggestion box for songs in the comments. That would be kinda fun!) P.S: I’m going to give the free membership to my Dad, he is too cheap to join! lol
