Excited chatter
a new year
has arrived
extravagance no
longer matter
excellencies n charm
live within my heart
zazzed up in some
certain sunrise
i’m feeling fine
hushed like a butterfly
longing for a sight
a new image
a ripple of flame
dancing in my
picture frame.
I’m surely going to fulfill my promise. Once again, this rhythmically beautiful.
Bringing in the new year
Sitting front of the TV
Listening to songs from popstars
It’s midnight, having a glass of red wine
Bells ring out loud
Fireworks light the sky
Ringing everyone on the phone
Wish them a happy new year
Bring me back down to earth
