Today we all celebrate Easter, the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We certainly will not be left out in the celebration of His resurrection. Today, I read the bible- not because it is Easter- but because it’s been a while since i read the Holy Bible. So, I came across Luke 24:6-7.
WHY IT DID NOT WORK
6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ”
My emphasis is on the first sentence. If He is not here, then, where is He? That’s a rhetorical question we must be able to answer if we must celebrate Easter. At this moment I write on Daily Wisdom Words Music Prompt to inform you that Jesus is in you. Let Him show you where He resides.
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Gen 1:27

Easter cheers!
Grief and mourning, pain and despair, the cost of sadness when you’ve lost someone whom you care
everything stops, you freeze in time, emotions swinging like a monkey on a vine
when fear of tomorrow stops you in your tracks, you feel you can’t go on because of the love you lack
sometimes due to misconceptions and faulty perspectives
one might feel shame want to distance yourself from their name
you mourn in sorrow unbelievable pain
wonder if things will ever get better, if there is a way?
you face inner demons, face the pain, let go of it all in Jesus name
then one day the sun shines brighter
like Jesus unconditional love for mankind
seeds of hope sprout
before you know it the birds are singing and flowers are out
the holes in your heart heal, and you start again
singing love; shout it out!
like Jesus who rose from the tomb
giving us hope, that summer is here, flowers have bloomed
a new beginning
intense pain gone
living for today; grateful for the end of “yesterday”
world peace around the corner
tomorrow is near

April 4th 2021
I remember the day on our make-shift raft
we didn’t float very far but we floated real fast
soaked from head to toe in our Sunday best
the saplings came apart before we could fish.
There’s not many good memories in my brain
Easter like all other holidays was not for our kind.
Yet a few existed where they tried real hard
baskets and presents, egg searches in the yard.
You and I are kin but my heart it still hurts
I focus on forgiveness on Easter cause
healing my heart is worth more than the hurt. -Amberdawn (CRG)
