I never had this song, Don’t try so hard by Amy Grant, as an option but it dawned on me that I needed to take you all to church today.
Why are you trying so hard? What are you trying so hard to do? I can go on to make this whole talk a long one but I think there’s really no need when I can tell you that trying to get things done is great but always know the place of the grace of God. He makes little things big.

Cry so hard, try so hard Come as ye are People pleaser; endured life O’ strife never good enough it seems, no matter how much ya care no matter what ya do for others, seems like everyone’s lookin with blind eyes at your love which seems disguised, in a world full O’ lack of love & affection misconceptions and assumptions that ye must have secret deceptions not good with spoken words, so ya show em with deeds, but still love sometimes hurts when ye have expectations for love in return thankful for Jesus, who showed the way the truth & the light unconditional love is how its done right! thank God for grace, It seems I too was lookin with “blind eyes”; in hind sight don’t need ta try so hard says… Read more »

You pull out all the stops with a smile
No stone left unturned for awhile
Hearts moving mountain clover
Bent backwards over & over
Boiled ocean heats my neck of the wood
Painted lady short cut neighborhood
One shot Mountain Back in three
Broke a Desiree

It can englobe the world
A paper is just a paper
It can turn into a letter
Whenever you fill it with letters
It can turn you into a lover or a hater
