Floating on a flare
Of debonair
A piano tune in the air..
Sweet notes of yesterday
Found a way into my heart ..
It Brings back memories
Of a classic love affair .
Somedays I feel that the hunt to keep trying
to keep winning your eyes over
aren’t always easy, when you’re always seeking new adventures
seeking new faiths, but I have the same mind
I bleed that same blood I’ve always bled
and I’ve held that some love inside that has attached to my soul
like a stalking Winter, a sticky Summer, surrounding Autumn leaves,
or as ripe as all the Springtime fruits, the abundance of flowers.
I’ll always be that ripe heart, no matter what season
What season you find your way back to my eyes again.

Like the aimless water
I thought she would
Find the rail to my heart
Like the dutiful wind
I thought she would
Fan my warring heart.
I waited but the way
To my heart was altered.
