When exactly do you mean?
See I’ve already waited too long
And all my hope is gone

I am the sun
And the air
I am unsung
And I’m everywhere
I whisper dreams
Into your ears
I am the thoughts
Of your vacant stare
The more you deny
The more I become clear
I am what’s human
Buried under your fears
And I’ll give you the strength
To become what you hold dear
Cuz you deserve
To be heard
I watched the sun
I felt the air
I hear him whisper
“Come love me if u dare
I’m no 1 of consequence
A non-entity of a man
Come put me back together
If u think u can”
& so with tentative breath
Upon his face I lay my fingers
While upon his lips
My softest touch lingers
I need him
With every fibre of my being I need him
The touch of his skin
His hot breath in my ear
Whispers of promises
Drawing ever near
I brush against him
Driving my hips 2 his
I need him now
Oh I need this
Soon, he promises
& deepens his kiss
How about now?
I reply with a hiss
Stuck on the rhyme scheme
the air the moon the sun the doom
dancing to the tune
slowly unwind to the memories of the 90s
the pain of trying to find love
accepting humanities weakness
the need for gloves, support the desire
run from fire yet burn from within
only crows and murder begins
clouds evaporate under wings
fill with gold let go and soar again

that’s not happening
you sit around & cry
& wonder why
won’t anyone just love you
the time is now
to say goodbye
to those tears & that sad frown
you’ve got to realize now
nobody’s coming to fix your crown
