Beautiful Remains
Living a silver spoon life
Until shattered by a knife
Struggling low income family
Forever changed by a tragedy
Possession is sacred
Often destroyed by hatred
Broken hearts and blackened bruises
Giving way to unsupported excuses
In the end, it is all we got
Though to many, it is not a lot.
The air we breathe, the simple things
Flowers that bloom and all nature brings
Through our heartaches and all life’s pains
Right before your eyes, only beautiful remains

Singing in Haunted Time
Passion’s tears took us
embracing intuition’s
they serve one master
searing final looks.
Ancient souls at play
born on starscaped beaches
travellers of galactic voids
we sing to haunted time.
Alone now I remember
desire’s chant
torn by turbulent waves
something beautiful remains.
Pictures like smiles can be deceiving.
The mask one wares
Holds many tales.
His curly hair, sad blue eyes.
Behind them lye frightening times.
A twin by his side, guidance and light.
Supporting each other through darkest of nights.
Goodbyes faded in
a silence unnoticed
winds rushed past
leaving early winter snowflakes
something beautiful remains
a spindrift of summer lark
canoodling in the scent
a passel of friends
full of immersion
where forever is a dream
every smile a promise .
