Roaring fiercely
she breathes
relentless power
to your knees
Fighting, planing
Ancient salt
She burns
Memories freeze
Crashing thunder
She breaks
Freefalling
She reclaims
the freedom
she gave

A Fire Upon Your Deep
Dragon’s fire licks astonishment
as your wave overwhelms
it claws like emotional turbulence
staggering onto my wilder shores.
Your ardent tide’s flood pleads
will you stay in my crazy
embrace what you cannot see
swim in my mind’s light.
We ocean our water together
chasing storms’ delight
even as nightfall unmasks us
there’s fire upon your deep.

Ride the wave
Breeze
Aquatic nature
Blue and fresh
Sweet and pure
