I hear the waves
Outside my door
I feel them calling me
To the shore
I walk through the sand
Warmth on my feet
The breeze is cooling
Me down from the heat
I’m on the beach
As I listen to the waves
I pick up a beat
It’s my own personal symphony
I love nature
It’s enveloping

I found my place
awash on your shore
My mind numb
your voice, my light
And waves took me
Onto rocks protecting you
Memories I cannot lose.
I found my way
Following your stream
Sunlight in your eyes
As I sail again
Across starscaped skies
Back to yours
Memories I’ll never lose.
Into the woods i wander
with thoughts to ponder
nature’s glow in harmony dance
my soul takes a bow
to delight this wonderment
free my mind
the stillness in me sigh
love abides before my eyes
