    • Call this a lockdown
You aren’t a resident in care
      Call this a lockdown
You aren’t stuck in your house
      You can’t go out
The only place you can exercise is the garden or car-park
      Carehome like a prison
      Just to protect us
Certain people have a visitor not me

    The Cure
    Treat me softly.
Tell me that you love me,
    Often.
Give me a hug when you can,
    Post pandemic.

    I have Post Traumatic Stress.
    I am bipolar.

    • Love this article! Thank you for spreading awareness on this!!

    • Thank you for sharing and bringing awareness to this horrific abuse young girls still endure. I read up on this a few years back and was mortified that it still continues in this day and age. A horrifying reality indeed 😥

    • Thank you for the awareness, all my thoughts was that it doesn’t exist any longer, but in history books. Thanks once again for the awareness… You get given me a new case to advocate for..

      • Trump from the beginning had a thing for one-sided story. This singular act was the achilles heel he never knew existed.
It may surprise you if I say that he rightly feels that everything he is currently doing is right. Well that makes him incorrigible.
Over 220 member of the house have already signed his impeachment, for the second time…
I’ll always say this; he is trouble.

    • Perfectly said Samantha 💕 Our country was once known as a land of American dreams, a promising future and morals. Now it seems people riot when things don’t go their way, our future is scary & so many lack compassion. Trump is just a rich boy who used the president title to add a notch into his bucket list. He never told a speech as a whole country, all his speeches were for his supporters only. He is and was never president material.

      Much love to you always,
      Catherine ❤

    • I haven’t written in a while
      stuck in a cycle
      call, email, please don’t drill
      it’s time for sustainable energy
      can you see us
      the people are screaming
      while the earth is changing.
It’s colder in some areas now
      warmer in others
the waters are all polluted & drying
      the animals are dying
      viruses ravage our planet.

      Looking at this pic
      so calming and quiet
      only to remember
people & animals will freeze in it. -CRG (Ad)

    • Here i lay on
      snowy grounds
      counting stars
      complimenting
      my heart
      a cold light
      streaked the trees
      mourning faces
      i have not seen
      Smiles are wishes
      across windy fields
      where autumn
      has all but breathed
      dwellings of dreams
      the slightest emphasis
      of how much i miss.

      • Rhyme all the way Mich! This is beautiful 🌹😊

      • Oh to walk hand-in-hand on the shores of your Isle Delight basking in such memories of times when we played as children; alas, the changing times of our lives has left the green hills of summer as we embolden against the cold frozen rain together, finding those long ago smiles we first kissed. (Now, dear Michelle, I will attempt to edit this and create something to match your beautiful write… No hitting me now…! 😉 😉 😉

    • My younger brother wrote this…I guess I’m infecting him with poetry.

      Trees with flee
      are never glee
      The snow that flow
      gives a harsh blow
in snow it’s hard to walk
      but you still stalk.
My oh my! You’re so sly
      when thy leaves flows by.

He wants to know what u think about it 😊

    • Oh to walk hand-in-hand
      on shores of your
      Isle Delight
      basking in memories
of times we played as children
      alas, changing seasons
      of our lives has left
      green trees of summer
      as we embolden against
      cold frozen rain
      tasting its snow
      remembering those
      long ago smiles
      we first kissed.

      A petal like a robe
      Gently unfolding, opening
All you see is her beauty
      For she is the centre
      Sweetness is her power
      The rose captures dew
      She holds onto you

      You are with her

      POEM BY KARL WOMACK

    • We produce the
      feel in words spoken
      though filtered
      in silky materials
      so we don’t
      covid lives dear.
      The night misses
      our dry jokes-
      I know it wants to
      laugh at our
      jokeless jokes.
      We have to pend
      cuddles and inundate
      love with distance
      until it takes no stance.

      • Really lovely abuh😍

      • Our poetry finds us all holding hands across vast spaces. Such is our delight as we share our passionate dance. A waltz, a tango, or a samba; each finds us signatory to each others’ delight. We love when we play; the night beckons…

    • Hmmmm…it makes a whole lot of sense. The poem covers, from the poet’s perspective, how one should exact love during pandemic.
First question is sublime. I love your poem. Thanks for sharing it with us.

    • Broken in discontent
      pandemic spent
      oh yea gentle love
      seeks comfort where
      promises are kind
      in memories combined
      say no more
      but a few words
      what lingers
      are whispers
      denied kisses
      masked with wishes
      special notes
      of bedewed lips
      a caress her
      heart speaks.

    • The words you repeated in the poem nearly passed me by. Beautiful poem. Even though love is distant we will still keep at it👏

    • Gorgeous write; the longing emotions drip like tears onto our own.

    • A poem rising with the dawn of a new world; a shared yearning for what we love.

    • Our poetry finds us
      beautiful eyes holding hands
      across vast pandemic sighs
      such is our dear delight.

      Sharing passionate dances
      our words love to waltz
      enrapturing happy
      as we fall into delight.

      Will you share your song
      no matter where our
      pillows dwell
      nightfall’s frolic invites.
