As we all celebrate a historical and legendary resurrection, ask yourself one thing: Can we take the cue and resurrect ourselves? Now I’m obviously not implying bringing ourselves back from dead. Nor am I comparing myself or anyone else with perhaps the most selfless person who ever graced our world. What I am alluding to is revitalizing our individual energies to any passion or endeavor we might have lost overtime. We all go through phases in life where we have to stop for introspection and realign our focus accordingly. What better day to do that than Easter? What other day can provide so much motivation? We remember Easter for a person who selflessly put up with the pain of nails and barbed wire through the body for others’ sins and still came back. Irrespective of any religion, we can all learn the value of willpower, perseverance and faith from it. No, we can’t come back from the dead. But our goals and ambitions certainly can. As we have the special meals and look for the hidden eggs, take a minute to ask yourself: What can you resurrect about yourself? What have you put aside that can still be revived? What does resurrection in the 21st century mean to you? Do you think you still have the strength and ability revive lost goals? Why or why not?
