Lightning Strikes

sometimes
in the night time
a wanderer in the dark
a searcher in need of guidance
and sometimes
at the right time
LIGHTNING STRIKES
the whole world is brighter
for a flash then it's gone
but for that moment
the bolt is enough
to light the way home

sometimes
in a hard time
a traveler with a thirst
a crop in need of rain
and sometimes
at the right time
THUNDER ROLLS
the sky opens up
just a splash and it's gone
but for that moment
the drops are enough
to keep moving on
