Some years ago
I saw a dam
Filled with the bluest
Of all kindness that shielded
A young Nigerian fellow
From bad energy.
Her comforting walls quaking at every punch
As she dripped essence present.
Her resolve was not to care when love was at stake. Each day, a cement, that molds our bond.
She’s an extension of my desire; my imagination come true.

She has been
a fairy
an emissary
a friend
an amended absence
linger in her scent
here n now
rendezvous our minds
flirtatious glimpsing
her sentimental heart
to wander in surprise
eyes lit up
memorising her touch
we miss n love so much.
