HEAVEN IN YOU BY HUGH MASEKELA FT J’SOMETHING

LYRICS

I left you
Then I kissed you on my return
And I watched you
From every corner and every curve
And I wonder
Was it all a blessing or all a curse
But you’ve proven to me
Look at how far we’ve come
Man look at how far we’ve come
Oh oh oh oh
I know its true
Oh oh oh oh
I know its true yeah
Cause I found a heaven in you
Yeah I found a heaven in you
Oh oh oh oh
I know its true
Oh oh oh oh
I know its true
I found a heaven in you
I found a heaven in you
Not a doubt in my head
Not one little shadow no
Or love just instead
I think that I found the one
I mean, how could I not
When every picture were in makes my heart stop
Yeeaah oww
Man you take me so higher
Yes you get me so inspired
Oohh you take me so higher
Yeah you get me so inspired
Oh oh oh oh
I know its true
Oh oh oh oh
I know its true yeah
Cause i found a heaven in you
Yeah i found a heaven in you

RIDE LIKE THE WIND BY CHRISTOPHER CROSS

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HNOn6enPC7U

LYRICS

It is the night
My body’s weak
I’m on the run
No time to sleep
I’ve got to ride
Ride like the wind
To be free again
And I’ve got such a long way to go (such a long way to go)
To make it to the border of Mexico
So I’ll ride like the wind
Ride like the wind
I was born the son of a lawless man
Always spoke my mind with a gun in my hand
Lived nine lives
Gunned down ten
Gonna ride like the wind
And I’ve got such a long way to go (such a long way to go)
To make it to the border of Mexico
So I’ll ride like the wind
Ride like the wind
Gonna ride like the wind
Accused and tried and told to hang
I was nowhere in sight when the church bells rang
Never was the kind to do as I was told
Gonna ride like the wind before I get old
It is the night
My body’s weak
I’m on the run
No time to sleep
I’ve got to ride
Ride like the wind
To be free again
And I’ve got such a long way to go (such a long way to go)
To make it to the border of Mexico
So I’ll ride like the wind
Ride like the wind
And I’ve got a long way to go (such a long way to go)
To make it to the border of Mexico
So I’ll ride like the wind
Ride like the wind
Gonna ride like the wind
Ride!
Gonna ride like the wind
Ride!

EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD BY TEARS FOR FEARS

LYRICS

Welcome to your life
There’s no turning back
Even while we sleep
We will find You acting on your best behavior
Turn your back on mother nature
Everybody wants to rule the world
It’s my own desire
It’s my own remorse
Help me to decide
Help me make the most Of freedom and of pleasure
Nothing ever lasts forever
Everybody wants to rule the world
There’s a room where the light won’t find you
Holding hands while the walls come tumbling down
When they do, I’ll be right behind you
So glad we’ve almost made it
So sad they had to fade it
Everybody wants to rule the world
I can’t stand this indecision
Married with a lack of vision
Everybody wants to rule the world
Say that you’ll never, never, never, need it
One headline, why believe it?
Everybody wants to rule the world
All for freedom and for pleasure
Nothing ever lasts forever
Everybody wants to rule the world

Have you ever heard a tune and then you try to remember, by all means, the title of the song or where you heard it?
That’s exactly what I felt the moment I listened to this song. I knew I had heard the tune somewhere. So, I searched- thank God for Google, and there it was.
It was used as a soundtrack in the 2018 transformer-like movie, Bumblebee. I’m very sure you’ll love this 1985 track by Tears for fears.

EARTH SONG BY MICHAEL JACKSON

Lyrics
What about sunrise
What about rain
What about all the things that you said
We were to gain
What about killing fields
Is there a time
What about all the things
That you said were yours and mine
Did you ever stop to notice
All the blood we’ve shed before
Did you ever stop to notice
This crying Earth, these weeping shores
Aah, ooh
What have we done to the world
Look what we’ve done
What about all the peace
That you pledge your only son
What about flowering fields
Is there a time
What about all the dreams
That you said was yours and mine
Did you ever stop to notice
All the children dead from war
Did you ever stop to notice
This crying earth, these weeping shores
Aah, ooh
Aah, ooh
I used to dream
I used to glance beyond the stars
Now I don’t know where we are
Although I know we’ve drifted far
Aah, ooh
Aah, ooh
Aah, ooh
Aah, ooh
Hey, what about yesterday
(What about us)
What about the seas
(What about us)
The heavens are falling down
(What about us)
I can’t even breathe
(What about us)
What about apathy
(What about us)
Drowning in the seas
(What about us)
What about the promised land
Preachin’ what I believe
(What about us)
What about the holy land
(What about it)
What about the greed
(What about us)
Where did we go wrong
Someone tell me why
(What about us)
What about baby boy
(What about him)
What about the days
(What about us)
What about all their joy
Do we give a damn
Aah, ooh
Aah, ooh

DISCOVERIES

Why is discoveries such a valuable daily wisdom word?  Let us take a look at the meaning of discoveries in our Webster Dictionary, first.

Discoveries-the action or process of discovering or being discovered.  2.  A person or thing discovered.

Daily Wisdom Word Definition of discoveries-a continued part of one’s  life

Discoveries are a fascinating part of our lives and the older we get, the more valuable these discoveries are.  They become learning tools for us as life continues to move. Discoveries don’t happen every day, but they happen more often than we acknowledge because sometime we miss them as their happening.

Discoveries change everything.  However, when we don’t recognize one, we can’t grow from them.  Let’s think of some important discoveries that have happened to most of us that happen.  We all reach puberty at some point in our lives.  Puberty changes the sound and tone of a boy’s voice deepening it.   A young woman starts her period, and her body begins to change from all of the hormones.

These are discoveries in life we can’t help but notice.  Let’s take a look at some of the discoveries that happen that you may never notice.  When you choose to overlook these changes because you don’t notice them, You miss a potential learning experience that could enhance your life.  For example, you see one of your friends, and everytime you see your friend, sadly they are drunk.  You then notice that when call now, his voice is slurred.  You notice these things because you have your “awareness alert” on.  (another tool for your daily wisdom words tool box).  You have made a new discovery.  You see the pain and misery it is causing your friend to be like this, so you decide to learn from this experience you’ve discovered . and make decisions in your future based on this discovery.

There are things in life that happen to us everyday we can discover.  There are beautiful things in nature all around us we see, but take for granted.  Why?  Because we don’t have our awareness button on, and we are distracted by the everyday dilemmas that happen in life.  Take a few minutes out of every day to have some quiet time for yourself.  Also, if your distracted with something else and are single and looking to meet the right man, he might walk right past you and you won’t even notice him because your to distracted with everyday life to turn it around.

Thanks so much for reading about discoveries today.  Have a beautiful and blessed day.  We have started a new, fun thing with the daily wisdom words blog, where I begin the discussion which is what I want you to participate in when you finish reading this post.  Where you do this, is you scroll down beneath this post and find the rectangular box where it says, “join the discussion”, and you will leave a poem, quote or comment about discoveries.

Joining Daily Wisdom Words in just$10 for a lifetime membership.  The membership information will be laid out on our home page.  We offer various types of prompts, as well as the ability to comment on your posts or let them be private with our mini-facebook application we give to you with your membership that you will build on the website with a picture of yourself to network, especially as an author wanting to get your book marketed.
