Caught in a snare
Heart’s are bare
Nothing to lose
Others lives they choose
Across the street
A child so sweet
Lives are torn
After choices preform
Selfish acts one can’t
Unwind
Sifting through thoughts
As the ticking hands of
Time go by
Oceans
So you wake upon the light
eyes staring back crying
angels who know you
they take your hand again.
Alone inside our minds
we hold on to your beautiful
even when we’re lost
loneliness keeps us close.
My thoughts rush to you
flooding my eyes
you’re always been inside me
an ocean I love dearly.
